Who this course is for
Suitable for officers of senior rank or aspiring to senior command.
This challenging and fast paced course will prepare students with the knowledge, understanding and skills to better deal with the enormous responsibilities of commanding, or being involved in a spontaneous critical incident or a pre-planned operation.
The course, run by very experienced former senior police officers with personal experience of dealing with major incidents and command of complex challenging operations, draws on a huge range of material including Government enquiries and reviews, reports and best practice advice.
The complex and varied nature of the exercises will test the students and leave them best placed to manage operations and critical incidents.

- To develop effective tactics to support the strategy (Silver)
- To develop an understanding of Operational delivery of the Tactics ( Bronze)
- To develop intelligence through a National Intelligence Model
- To explore models for effective community media and multi- agency management
- To develop effective leadership capability.
