Who this course is for
This one week course covers the critical requirements for collecting, recording, evaluating, sanitising and briefing information and intelligence, in particular the adoption of minimum standards and security of information.
Course objectives
- Understand the value of intelligence and its role in operational decision making
- Understand the role of the intelligence analyst and other intelligence personnel
- Understand the differences between information and intelligence and how to process, record, sanitise, evaluate, store and disseminate intelligence
- Understand the need for, and how to apply, appropriate security measures to intelligence.
