Who this course is for

Participants must have previously completed 'Introduction to Intelligence', 'Modern Intelligence Analysis', Intelligence Analysis Tools.

This two week course provides analysts with the techniques to respond quickly and effectively to major incidents and to provide investigating officers with critical analytical support.

It provides analysts with an understanding of their role within a major investigation and how to influence the direction and outcomes of a major incident.  The course combines lessons with carefully constructed practical exercises.

  • Understand the role of the major crime analyst within a major incident room
  • Develop critical analytical skills and techniques
  • Understand how best to communicate and present analytical findings.
