Who this course is for
Participants must have previously completed 'Introduction to intelligence', 'Modern intelligence analysis' and 'Intelligence analysis tools'.
This intensive two week programme of practical and theoretical learning opportunities develops the thinking and analytical skills taught during Modern intelligence Analysis to enable analysts to understand how their analysis can inform covert intelligence operations, using the analyst tools (software) taught during Intelligence Analysis Tools.
The course takes the students on a typical journey of an intelligence analyst involved in a covert operation. The course exposes students to challenges regularly experienced in the intelligence world, inaccurate data, missing information, short deadlines, etc and teaches them how specialist techniques and tools can be used to collate, visualise, scan, evaluate, analyse and present information in order to inform the development of a covert operation.
