Alan Pacey

Alan has recently completed a 34 year career with The British Transport Police, the last eight years of which were as part of the Senior Executive team.

During that time Alan held portfolio responsibilities for Counter Terrorism, Serious and Organised Crime, Intelligence, Covert Policing, Operations and Learning and Development. Alan also led several major change programmes, which were all achieved on time and within budget.

Alan is a qualified coach and since retiring from BTP he has been engaged in coaching and mentoring senior BTP officers and middle and senior managers in the private sector, on a consultancy basis.

Alan is a Lead Consultant for Top2% and is involved in the development of the business and undertaking the training for rail and security staff to ensure they meet the requirements of the Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme (RSAS).

Outside of Top 2%, Alan undertakes various other consultancy roles in the private sector.

Enhanced Railway Safety Accreditation Scheme

This course includes all of the elements of the core RSAS Course but includes the complete behaviour awareness package and provides a deeper understanding of the National Intelligence Model, Community Engagement, British Transport Police Command and Control protocols and Major Incident response.
